What's your reason?

Today I spent a large chunk of my day thinking about my blog and what I wanted to write about. I was pretty nervous, as I wanted to not only impress, but wanted to help inspire and motivate you all from the off. But as I was wondering, I stopped and thought, remember why you chose to do this, remember your goals and remember your aims. Then it hit me. I do this because I have a reason (I'll touch on this later). But why do you do what you do? What's your reason!?

Every day I have people coming up to me saying, "I want to lose weight", "I want to be healthy", "I want to be fitter", "I want... I want... I want". Now I am more than happy to help you, to guide you, to put you in the right direction and give you all the advise possible, but I can not do it for you. I can't physically tear off chunks of fat from your problem areas, I can't wave a magic wand and give you everything you've ever wanted (unfortunately), you will need to put in the hours and be determined to put in the work.

But for you to be determined, you need to have a reason! What's your reason!? What gets you up in the morning? What motivates you to work that extra bit harder? What's your reason!? Without a reason, you have nothing to aim for, you have no reason to continue and you have no reason to succeed. What's your reason!?

Why am I stressing over a reason? Because this very reason will be the difference between being happy and being sad. This very reason will be the difference between getting the body of your dreams and staying the way you are. THIS VERY REASON will be the difference between success and failure.

So what's my reason? Well, many people have doubted me, many people have said I will not mount to much, many people told me  my twitter page would be a waste of time and many people have said I will fail. Now, I have a choice, prove these people wrong, or prove them right. I thrive off people telling me I can't do something, it motivates me. If I fail, I will never give up. If I fall 100 times, believe I will get up 101 times! Why? Because, proving these people wrong IS MY REASON!

Now to finish off, I will ask you again, what's your reason!? Have a reason, have a why and do not stop, until you succeed!

  1. Last night I ran 4 x 5 min intervals & it was hard work, but 5 weeks ago when I ran 8 x 1 min intervals it was harder & I doubted I could ever run longer.

In 3 weeks time I'll be running 30 mins straight but yet I am still doubtful, even seeing how far I've come- proving myself wrong is my reason.
