"She's fat!"

So today's post is more of a little rant about the press and a certain group of people. This topic is one that hits a nerve and truly angers me. As you all know by now I like to keep everything I do and say positive, so I promise to end this post on a positive note.

What do Kelly Brook and Khloe Kardashian have in common? They are both being called fat (no I can't believe it either) by both the press and certain people on social networks. Unfortunately there is a HUGE list of female celebs (way too many to list) that are experiencing this, however these two are the ones I am focusing on today (but what I say counts for all). Before I continue, here's Khloe...

...and here is Kelly...

Can you believe it? Can you see why I get agitated? What image is this sending out to the public if these two women are getting called fat? Can you imagine how insecure this can make someone feel and how worried they may be when they hear negative comments about celebs who look absolutely stunning.

"Omg, if she gets called fat, I must look like a whale"

Am I exaggerating? Not at all. I think these sad people who say nasty comments on twitter for followers, and these terrible magazines for viewers need to read my previous blog on "Kindness" ( http://gymforwomen.blogspot.co.uk/2013/07/kindness-is-magic.html ). Making a joke about someones appearance is not only sad, but it tells a lot about your character!

"To belittle, you need to be little"

Now to bring this back to my point, making people feel insecure by attacking celebrities in the public eye leads to desperation. "I need to be fit, I need to lose weight, I need to improve my looks so I don't get picked on". This is the reason we have so many young girls starving themselves, this is why we have so many fad diets out there and this is why people are constantly looking for short term fixes that end up doing more damage than good.

In my opinion (and I am sure I share this opinion with you all), there is no "perfect" figure, there is no "ideal" size and there is no "must be" weight. We are all different, we are all unique. What's important is that we all look to achieve optimal health. We are all role models, this is what these rubbish magazines need to realise! When children read their false comments, how are they going to think? We need to promote good health, not a certain look or a certain weight, WHAT'S IMPORTANT IS OUR HEALTH!

"I used to train Kelly a few years ago! Such a beautiful lady inside and out! And trained like a beast!" - @TamayaAdams (celebrity personal trainer)

To round this off, I say both Kelly Brook and Khloe Kardashian are stunning. People who say such negative comments to celebs clearly need to think before they speak. The message they are sending out is a lot deeper than they think and they shouldn't be so insensitive. To end this I leave you with this quote;

"Beauty isn't about having a pretty face. It's about having a caring soul, a loving heart and a beautiful mind!"
